Bad Dog Builders (BDB) was founded in 2000 by Christian Rice of New Milford, CT. Originally known as CR Siding & Trim, BDB came to be as result of Christian's beloved & naughty pit bull Kalie; a rescue from the Waterbury pound. It's with much affection & a wink that the company has been named "Bad Dog" Builders. Many hours were spent fixing what Kalie destroyed- such as eating the decking, chewing a custom coffee table & pulling a leader drain off the house in order to get a chipmunk.
Christian is the owner and installer and focuses on providing the very best services for his customers. Being raised in New Milford gives him a strong connection to the community. Christian truly loves building and working with his hands. He enjoys seeing a project from start to finish and having a satisfied customer. Bad Dog Builders offers all aspects of residential construction. From small projects such as repairs to larger projects such as additions and exterior renovations, BDB can handle it all.

Christian has done numerous repair jobs for me, both at my business and home. He replaced all the wood posts in my indoor ring with perma columns, replaced the light panels, and beefed up the roof bracing. He also installed a new roof on the main barn. His work is excellent, costs are reasonable, and he finishes in a timely manner. I can’t say enough good things about him! I would highly recommend him!
